This privilege is not extended to aircraft not owned and operated by the holder of the repairman certificate. Persons holding a light sport repairman with maintenance rating certificate and appropriately rated mechanics (A&Ps) and repair stations are also authorized to perform condition inspections on experimental light sport aircraft.

The scope, detail, and limitations of the condition inspections would be outlined in the manufacturer's instructions for continued airworthiness.
